The Collette Tank is the kind of basic that doesn't really feel basic at all. Knitted from 100% natural cotton, it's breathable and cool all summer long - and soft enough that you'll forget you're wearing it, which is honestly the highest compliment a top can receive. The ribbed detailing keeps things refined, while the relaxed silhouette means it works just as hard dressed up as it does dressed down.

The little balls of fluff that appear on your knitwear overtime are referred to as pilling. Garments made of natural fibres like wool and cashmere can pill as easily as an acrylic fibre. Pilling is not a sign of poor quality, it is the natural reaction and friction of synthetic or natural fibres rubbing during wear.

Pilling will most commonly occur under the arms, across the front of garment where a seatbelt,  hand bag , desk or jewellery may rub against the surface of the garment.

Soft fluffy knits which are often our favourites, pill more frequently  as the loose soft fibres will form balls much faster than a flat knit. Remember a piece of knitwear is not like a pair of jeans, the fibres are much more delicate.
